Brad Mills
Brad Mills specializes in customized portfolio management for high-net-worth individuals and families. Brad started his career in Scottsdale, AZ in 1990 and recently opened an office near his hometown in WI.
Brad has many relationships from across the country that are now in their fourth decade both planning and investing for retirement as well as during retirement. BMWM new minimum account size is $2 million as Brad wants to focus on his long standing relationships.
BMWM takes an absolute return approach to markets. BMWM looks for clients that are interested in best avoidance of losses vs. beating bull markets and fully understand that it is not a free lunch in markets for our valued clients. We are probably better suited for clients that are as interested in maintaining wealth in poor markets than outperforming bull markets.
Both a big fan of sports and the stock market, Brad obtained a finance degree from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, TX where he also had a successful college golf career earning NAIA All-American honors in 1986.
Brad went to the Onalaska High School in Onalaska,WI. Brad played 4 years of Varsity golf where his team won 4 Conference Championships and went to the Wisconsin State Tournament all 4 years. In 1982 and 1985 Onalaska won their only boys state golf championships in their history. Brad's senior year in 1985 he finished 3rd individually at the State tournament while leading the Hilltoppers to their title.
Brad played 3 years of Varsity basketball at Onalaska for Hall of Fame coach John Shelton. His teams won all 3 conference championships in the years he played for Coach Shelton. In 1983 Onalaska made it to the state tournament for the first time in 30 years for the school. His teams went 54-11 under 3 years of Coach Shelton.
Brad is a board member for the North Presbyterian Church in La Crosse, WI. Since moving back to Wisconsin in 2021 Brad has supported youth and high school athletic programs in the La Crosse area both as a volunteer coach and financially.
